Our Story

After years of experience working in the AEC industry, and having acquired a wide array of skills and know-how, two long time friends decided to join forces and carve our own path. Our mission is to provide a top notch experience to all our clients by helping them realize their vision(s) of building or transforming their homes. Dardan Gega

Owner / Manager

My family and friends call me Danny.

As long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by and drawn to buildings and the built environment. It's no surprise that I ended up studying Architecture in college, and then having a variety of positions in the AEC industry. I'm an engineer, BIM Specialist, surveyor, designer, project manager and overall problem solver with over ten years of professional experience. I am highly motivated, agile, curious and a resourceful professional; contributing my creativity, technical and interpersonal skills in the construction and related industries.

I first got introduced to the construction industry as a teenager, in the early 2000s.

Throughout my high school and college years, I spent my free time working for my family and helping out with their small renovations business. When it came to work they were guided by two principles: honesty and a high standard for quality. I still live by those same principles to this day.

In my mid 20s I decided to move to the United States to start a new life in the land of opportunity, and indeed a new start it was.
At first, due to my lack of English and not being able to communicate fluently, I took jobs that were well below my experience and skill level. Slowly, as I gained the trust of my employers and the respect of my coworkers I began to practice work I was already familiar with such as painting, carpentry, tiling, etc. And as my skills improved, and my knowledge grew I also grew in responsibility and into new roles, such as building custom cabinets and built-ins, to eventually becoming a project manager.

After all these years, working for different companies between Boston, MA and Palm Beach, FL, my best friend Danny and I decided to open our company, Oak Grove Builders LLC, and the rest is history....
